    Commercial Dryer Repair FAQs

How much does it cost to fix a commercial dryer?

On average, a commercial dryer repair can cost anywhere between $100 to $400, depending on the issue that needs to be fixed and parts needed. This cost range generally covers drum issues, a faulty thermostat, or clogged vents.

How long does it take to dry a full load?

Most dryers take about 45 minutes to run a full cycle. If the clothes are still damp after that time, you should clean out the venting system.

Can a commercial dryer be fixed at the same day?

Yes, we offer same-day service. As long as your washer repair technician doesn’t need any spare parts to fix the issue, you can have it fixed within the same day. Our technicians are always available for same day fridge repair service.

Should I repair my commercial dryer or buy a new one?

It depends on the price of the repair. You should never spend more than 50% of the cost of a new dryer, on a repair. You are likely better off fixing an issue rather than replacing the entire dryer if the repair cost is less than 50% of the price of a new dryer. If you are experiencing a small issue, it is always better to fix it.

    Dryer Maintenance Tips

Always clean the lint screen after a load

Not only does cleaning the lint out help the dryer run more efficiently, but it also can cause air restriction that can be extremely dangerous. Make sure to always clean lint after every cycle, and vacuum the filter chute one time every season.

Vacuum the inside of the dryer

At least once a year you should vacuum the lint build-up out of the dryer. You should also purchase replacement filters to ensure your dryer always has proper air flow.

    Check the outside vent cap

Regularly check the dryer’s vent cap outside to ensure that it has proper air flow. Remove snow build-up, leaves, dirt and shrubbery from the exhaust area. Carbon monoxide can build-up and pose a health threat to everyone inside the building.

Monitor cycles for a change in dry time

How old the dryer is should not have an effect on drying time. If the dryer is taking longer to dry clothes thoroughly, it could mean the vent is clogged. Clean out equipment as soon as possible.
