Commercial Refrigeration Repair Warranty

CooperFix provides a limited 90-day parts and labour warranty for the specific commercial or industrial refrigeration repair completed by CooperFix. The warranty applies to CooperFix’s authorized repair work and the parts CooperFix supplied for that repair, subject to the terms below.

The 90-day period is counted from the original repair date shown on the CooperFix invoice or work order.

What the Limited Warranty Covers

If the same equipment develops a condition within 90 days that is related to CooperFix’s original repair, CooperFix will assess the recurring condition. When the assessment confirms that it is covered by the original repair warranty, CooperFix will correct the covered work without an additional labour or covered-part charge.

The warranty is limited to the repair described on the original invoice or work order. It does not extend automatically to the entire refrigeration system or to components that were not part of that authorized repair.

When a New Repair Is Required

A similar symptom can have a different cause. If the recurring condition is unrelated to the original repair, involves another component, requires additional parts not covered by the original repair or occurs after the 90-day period, it is treated as a separate diagnosis and repair. CooperFix will explain the finding and obtain authorization before additional work.

Conditions Outside the Limited Warranty

  • Parts or system components not included in the original authorized repair
  • A different fault that produces a similar symptom
  • Clogs, blockages or foreign objects
  • Misuse, improper operation or damage caused by the user or another party
  • Unauthorized alterations or work performed after the CooperFix repair
  • External electrical, building, drainage, ventilation or site conditions
  • Requests made after the 90-day warranty period

Warranty and Emergency Service

A warranty request does not by itself determine whether an active refrigeration failure is covered. If equipment is losing temperature or presents another urgent operating condition, call CooperFix and identify the request as both an emergency refrigeration call and a possible warranty matter.

24/7 emergency availability does not guarantee an arrival time or a particular repair outcome. Site access, current service load, diagnosis and parts availability affect the service sequence.
