Cancellation Policy

Service Call Fee

CooperFix charges a service call fee of $165 plus HST. The fee covers travel to your site, on-site inspection of the affected refrigeration equipment and a diagnosis of the condition. It is charged whether or not a repair is authorized, because the diagnosis is the work.

Parts and repair labour are quoted separately after the diagnosis and are carried out only with your approval.

Booking an Appointment

When a commercial refrigeration service appointment is booked, that time is reserved for your business. Another business cannot be scheduled in the same window. Our technicians plan routes, parts and equipment around confirmed appointments.

Cancelling or Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call (647) 483-3777 as early as you can. We ask for at least 3 hours notice before the scheduled appointment. Advance notice lets another business take that slot.

Cancelling or rescheduling with 3 hours notice or more: no charge.

Cancelling with less than 3 hours notice: a reduced service call charge of $69 plus HST applies. Payment is due within 24 hours of the original appointment time.

If We Cannot Access the Equipment

The same reduced charge applies when a technician arrives at the scheduled time and cannot carry out the work because nobody is on site, the site is closed, or the equipment is blocked, still loaded or otherwise inaccessible.

Emergency Calls

24/7 emergency requests are received and assessed around the clock. An emergency appointment is confirmed by phone before a technician is dispatched, and the same cancellation terms apply once it is confirmed.
